Why is my antivirus not being detected?

Anti-virus can only be detected through Mycroft if it is Cylance, Defender, or XProtector.

• Cylance is offered by Mycroft and it’s offering can be turned on and off as part of settings.

• Defender is included by default on Windows

• Xprotector is included by default on MacOS

If you do not have one of these three anti-viruses it will not be detectable.

For Fedora:

Cylance, Defender and XProtect are all unavailable for Fedora, therefore antivirus detection for Fedora in not available.
