Working with Policy Versions and Amendments
Last updated: March 25, 2026
Policies keep a full version history so you can track how they change over time.
The Versions tab
The Versions tab on the Policy detail page shows:
Draft (if one exists): The current unpublished version. Select Edit & Publish to open it, or use the three-dot menu on the draft card to delete it.
Latest version: The most recently published version, including who published it, when, the current acceptance count, and a Download button.
Version history: A collapsible section listing all previous versions. Select the arrow to expand and view or download past versions.
Creating a new draft
To make significant changes to a published policy:
Open the Policy detail page.
Select Edit policy on the Latest version card.
Choose New draft version.
Edit, review, and publish the draft following the same flow as a new policy.
Amending a published version
For small corrections to a published policy (such as fixing a typo):
Open the Policy detail page.
Select Edit policy on the Latest version card.
Choose Amend published policy.
Make your corrections in the editor.
Select More > Save all sections, or use the per-section Save changes button that appears when you edit a section.
Important: Use amendments only for minor corrections. For larger updates, create a new draft so the full review and approval history stays clear.
