Deactivating and Deleting Policies

Deactivating a policy
Deactivating takes a policy out of active use without deleting it or its history. Deactivated policies are hidden from the main list by default but can still be viewed when needed.
To deactivate a policy:
From the Policies list: Select the three-dot menu (⋮) on the policy row and choose Deactivate policy.
From the Policy detail page: Select Options > Deactivate policy.
After deactivating, the policy status changes to Deactivated. To see deactivated policies in the list, select More > View deactivated.
To reactivate a policy:
Enable View deactivated from the More menu on the Policies page.
Open the deactivated policy's detail page.
Select Options > Activate policy.
Deleting a custom policy
Only custom policies can be permanently deleted. Default policies can only be deactivated.
To delete a custom policy:
Go to the Policies list.
Find the custom policy.
Select the three-dot menu (⋮) on the policy row.
Choose Delete Policy.
Confirm the deletion.
Important: Deletion is permanent. Any controls or tests that referenced the policy will lose that connection.
